Skills Instructors/1:1 Tutors

The Skill Instructor/1:1 Tutor provides training for functional living, social, and vocational skills with developmentally disabled adults.
REQUIREMENTS:

Lead Staff/Clerical Assistant
(Monday – Friday 8:45 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.)
To assist program participants with basic living skills and assist program management with supervision of program staff (Skills Instructors) including proper programming for consumers. Works with clients and seeks opportunities to teach, train, and encourage independence for performing living skills. Covers shifts during absences, call-offs, etc. Maintains confidentiality in matters of clients, personnel, and Villa Esperanza Services operations; exercises good judgment in the performance of duties and responsibilities.

RESIDENTIAL
Medical Coordinator (Hours vary)
Coordinate and conduct all appointments for clients residing in group homes. This includes setting up, attending appointments and completing all necessary paperwork. Follow instructions from Program Director and adhere to the program design in order to implement individual client care.

Residential Counselor/Direct Support Professional
(Part time; evening/weekend hours)
The Residential Counselor/Direct Support Professional works with developmentally disabled adults in a home setting teaching them basic living skills.
REQUIREMENTS:
Valid CA Driver’s License and High School diploma and/or equivalent.

NON PUBLIC SCHOOL
Instructional Aide

Works with children with autism, provides guidance and engages in classroom and playground activities.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

To assist in the assessment, development and implementation of occupational therapy programs for students on assigned caseload.

The Case Coordinator/Lead Job Coach supports client’s self-sufficiency efforts by recruiting, interviewing, screening, enrolling and orienting potential program participants. Administers, scores, and interprets skills and interest assessments for clients determining their job readiness, training, placement and support needs. Coordinates job coaches for Individual placement and Group Supported Employment clients.
REQUIREMENTS:
Valid CA Driver’s License and Degree from a four year college or university or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
