Villa Esperanza Services offers a variety of programs for children,
adults and seniors and their families:
Children & Youth Programs provide
services for children of all developmental abilities. We are specialists
in serving children with special educational needs including autism,
Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, intellectual disabilities, seizure
disorders, and other learning disabling conditions. Classes are
available for children 18 months to 22 years of age and include:
preschool, elementary, middle and high school programs.
Adult Programs include a variety
of vocational programs, an adult day activity program - dimensions, adult day program, care management, a residential program and an independent
living skills program for adults in the San Gabriel, San Fernando
and Conejo Valley regions.
Senior Programs include an Adult
Day Program, a community-based day program in Pasadena
which provides therapeutic and social services to adults,
18 and older, and the frail elderly who are living with physical,
mental or developmental challenges; and Care Management Outreach Collaboration is a professional service designed to help at-risk adults with developmental
disabilities and the frail elderly maintain their independence and
prevent institutionalization in nursing homes. Care Management also
assists the family members of the developmentally disabled.
Family Support is integral to Villa's philosophy of care, and is
a part of every program we offer. Specific support is provided through
our Care For Caregivers program, which provides support to caregivers
assisting developmentally disabled adult children or an elderly
spouse.
