
For teens 15 to 22:
High School Class Our High School Class serves teens and young adults ages 15-22 years. The curricular focus is on career development, personal management, and daily living. Students and teachers will work together to develop and implement individual transition plans. These transition plans will be the basis for instruction. Other skill areas taught include academics, recreation and leisure, and community involvement.
This program is structured to provide students the opportunity to learn and use their skills in the classroom and in the community. Students will also learn and practice the skills required for gainful employment. The emphasis for career education will be based on each student’s individual abilities and interests and how these will apply to their future endeavors.
For teens 18 and over:
Dimensions Adult Day Program is designed to develop and maintain functional, cognitive and behavioral skills required for successful integration in the community. Services included: activities for physical well-being, recreational and social activities, community outings, activities of daily living, skill building and cultural arts.
Vocational Programs foster independent vocational skills by working with job coaches in group and individual placements. We offer a variety of employment opportunities, such as: landscape maintenance, retail operations, food preparation, furniture refinishing, janitorial, vending and clerical work. |
