Developmental Behavioral Therapy Clinic

At our Developmental Behavioral Therapy Clinic, our mission is to support students in building meaningful, adaptive skills through individualized, evidence-based behavioral interventions. Led by our experienced behaviorists, Philip and Randy, we work closely with students, teachers, and support staff to foster lasting growth in behavior and communication.

Each student receives a personalized Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) that combines principles from Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Developmental, Individual-differences, Relationship-based (DIR) models. These plans are tailored to the unique needs and behaviors of each child, emphasizing proactive and compassionate strategies. Contact us to learn more.

Our Approach

  • Teaching students how to appropriately express their wants and needs.

  • Helping students build tolerance for waiting, accept denied access, and increase motivation to complete tasks.

  • Focusing on teaching adaptive skills and positive behaviors through natural, everyday interactions.

  • Behaviorists regularly work within classrooms, providing direct services and consultation to teachers and aides where and when behaviors occur.

  • Tools like token boards are used to help students understand expectations and visually track their progress toward rewards like outdoor time or preferred activities.

  • A developmental, relationship-based foundation ensures that all interventions are rooted in trust and mutual respect.

By creating structured opportunities throughout the school day, we support students in learning how to independently navigate their environment, advocate for their needs, and build the confidence and communication skills they need to thrive.
