GOLFER INFORMATION

Thank you for your interest in Villa's golf tournament this year! Villa's annual golf tournament, the Tournament of Hope, is held at San Gabriel Country Club in the fall. The Tournament has a different theme each year and includes a full day of golfing, cocktail hour, helicopter golf ball drop, and sit down dinner. Cocktail hour includes the helicopter golf ball drop, wine draw, and raffle. Dinner includes a program, live auction, and paddle raise. All event proceeds benefit the diverse programs that Villa provides for children, adults, and seniors with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

Please note that San Gabriel Country Club has a strict dress code as follows:

Men
Tailored slacks, Bermuda styled shorts (no shorter than 4" above the center of the back of the knee), knickers with knee socks, collared shirts with sleeves, turtlenecks, and sweaters. Shirts are to be tucked in at all times, except for shirts that are designed to be worn not tucked in. No jeans or denim of any color are permitted. Billed hats and visors are to be worn bill forward. Soft spiked golf shoes are required. No sandal style golf shoes. Metal-ceramic spikes are prohibited.

Women
Golf skirts and Bermuda styled shorts (no shorter than 5" above the center of the back of the knee), tailored slacks, and capris, collared shirts with no sleeves or crew neck shirts with sleeves, blouses, and sweaters. Blouses should be long enough to cover the belt line while at rest. Soft spikes golf shoes are required. Metal-ceramic spikes are prohibited. No sandal style golf shoes. No jean or denim of any color are permitted.
